Some top yards represented in this handicap hurdle and we will side with the Philip Hobbs trained Rift Valley, Honan and Three Lions look the main dangers. The selection has shown very little in two completive handicaps this month, but was returning from a two year break. The cobwebs should have been well and truly blown away and we can expect a much better performance from this former decent chaser.Three Lions looked to be returning to somewhere near his best when finishing an excellent fourth to Fard Du Moulins Mas at Doncaster recently. That was quite a competitive affair and against what appear to be inferior opposition he holds very strong claims. Honan disappointed last time at in that Doncaster event but had previously chased home the well handicapped The Local and if repeating that effort would be a big danger to all. Maiful, trained by Paul Nichols, and Peter Bowen's Sarasota are two others to watch out for, but we will take a chance on Rift Valley who is our sporting selection
