In depth

Verdict

It would be no surprise to see Mcvicar run well on his chasing bow. Gunna Be A Devil has been very lightly raced for his age and is another to consider on his fencing bow while Atlantic Roller will have been well schooled, though has been a bit disappointing over hurdles this season. Sure Thing only found one too good at Stratford on Saturday but Daymar Bay has been struggling to get his head in front, as has Tour D'Argent and Easily Pleased would probably have preferred faster ground. Gorsky Island should do better over fences, however, and has more scope than Gores Island. TOBY LERONE has been keeping good company and is sure to appreciate a drop back in distance after weakening over 3m at Uttoxeter 11 days ago - he might be worth chancing in this, despite sharing top weight.
