In depth

Verdict

Ask Me Early makes his debut under Rules having joined Harry Fry since winning a Kinsale point last June. Perfect Harmony would be interesting if fully wound-up and Butterwick Brook ran well for third at Ascot despite being easy to back. But GOSHEVEN (NAP) looks the one to be on as he was an eye-catcher at Chepstow last month, despite needing the run. He had smart novice form the season before last and should now be ready to start making up for lost time. Hawk's Well wasn’t disgraced at Newbury and this further step up in distance should be a plus.
