In depth

Verdict

Jully Les Buxy is penalised having got back to winning ways at Lingfield but she was successful here the season before last and is a tough stayer who has her ground again. It’s a while since Fortunate George ran in this lower grade and he is worth considering with a 10lb claimer in the saddle. Supreme Escape finished close up at Chepstow on his handicap debut and has been left on the same mark so also goes on the short-list but a drop in distance at Ascot last time just caught out the novice ASHFIELD PADDY and he has a good chance to gain compensation in this.
