In depth

Verdict

Broomfield Present, a winner over three miles over hurdles, was staying on over that trip over fences here last month before falling when in touch at Uttoxeter. Golden Sovereign had almost two years off before returning last winter and might just need this while Polish has never been further than three miles. Lyrical Genius, a winning point-to-pointer, bumper and hurdler, attempted to make all over 3m2f at Carlisle but was headed in the final strides. SILVER IN DISGUISE (NAP) s guaranteed to stay this extreme distance having been beaten a length over the trip at Perth so gets the vote.
