    Verdict

PERCY VEERING failed to complete in his first two starts over fences but has grasped what is required in his recent starts at Warwick and FFos Las where he has showed plenty of determination. He is up 6lb but a hat-trick beckons. Williamdeconqueror was mugged on the line at Lingfield when conceding 9lb to the winner so he should be winning soon. Seymour Promise has shown ability without winning while Caeruleum ran well over timber at Wincanton and makes his chasing debut off a very lowly mark but top weight Mormon has never won over fences in 14 starts.
