In depth

Verdict

This looks competitive and Ballymagroarty Boy is on a long losing run but the 10-year-old is usually thereabouts in this grade. Skandiburg wasn’t disgraced back over hurdles at Newbury and Gerico Ville has won two of his last three. Ballydisco dead-heated upped to this trip at Ffos Las but is 5lb higher now. Hauraki Gulf keeps finding one too good but is worth a market check on handicap debut and Snipe is better than he showed at Doncaster. IOUPY COLLONGES looked to be crying out for a step up in trip when failing to land the odds at Taunton last month. Ben Bromley, who has ridden him in both wins to date, is back on board today.
