Deer Dancer can improve on his chase debut and is chosen to beat Silver Inngot and Barton Hill. Jimmy Frost's five-year-old was a decent enough hurdler and following a couple of slight errors finished a very promising third to East Lawyer on his first venture over the larger obstacles. He will have learnt a great deal from that experience and can go close here at a decent price. Barton Hill is one that deserves a victory having run consistently well against some decent opposition. He will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Silver Inngot didn't jump well last time when well behind Tregastel, but his previous run when easily beating Yvanavitch is possibly the best recent form on show and if he gets his jumping together today he will be a major threat to all. Toomebridge has claims on the pick of this season's efforts, however Deer Dancer has plenty of scope for improvement and given the nod.
