Alan King looks to have found an easy opening for Lamp's Return, who is chosen to beat Penneyrose Cross and Nice Baby. Already a winner at Wincanton, this daughter of Bob's Return found the Paul Nichols trained Taranis too good at the same track on her latest outing. There appears nothing of that calibre in today's contest and she can resume winning ways. Penneyrose Bay wasn't beaten too far in a similar race at Sandown last time, and although not the most consistent, she should be involved in the finish. Nice Baby has shown a modest amount of ability and is capable of improvement, she should go well for her top connections. Purple Patch, if nothing else is consistent and looks best of the remainder, but in a very modest event Lamp's Return has strong claims and gets the verdict.
