Connections look to have found another winning opportunity for Fontwell scorer Premier Estate, who is taken to repel the main likely challengers Existential and Rydon Lane. The intention was to send the selection novice chasing following his win in a handicap at Fontwell but, with the ground still not considered to be soft enough for him to do so and with the handicapper having raised the gelding just 4lbs since then, Richard Rowe has taken the option of remaining over timber for the time being. At the top of the handicap Glen Warrior and Oh So Wisley look to have too much weight now and a bigger threat may come from Existential, who represents the in-form yard of Paul Nicholls. Rydon Lane is a consistent performer and has to be respected but may once again find at least one too good and of more interest may be Robert Alner's Spaghetti Junction, who was highly tried last term and takes a big drop in class here. However, Premier Estate won with enough in hand at Fontwell to suggest that he is well enough treated to defy the rise in the weights.
