In depth

Verdict

Paul Nicholls has a good chance in the first division of this novice hurdle and Danny Whizzbang could give the yard a quick double. He’s got bags of scope, though his win in a Hereford maiden has yet to be franked. Truckin Away is probably the form pick and has his sights lowered, though he ran poorly in a Haydock Grade 2 last month. PRESENT VALUE (NAP) beat a subsequent winner at Chepstow having run Supreme Novices’ favourite Al Dancer to two lengths over 2m at Ffos Las on his debut. He looks a nice prospect and can double his tally in this. Joyrider will have needed his run at Kempton but looks a chaser in the making.
