Not many arrive in decent form but ARCTIC ROAD is an exception having opened his account with a victory at Ayr last time. He remains unexposed and can defy a 5lb rise in the weights with first-time cheekpieces likely to bring further improvement. Valkenburg also ran well at Ayr in January and has switched yards since while Dulce Panem posted a much better effort when placed at Sedgefield on Boxing Day and the winner has subsequently gone in again. The remainder are harder to recommend though Mah Mate Bob showed some progress last time and headgear is applied for the first time today.
