The market may provide the best guide to this contest but KARASENIR showed enough on debut to get the vote ahead of Jumpjack Flint and Open Day. The Hobbs runner was made favourite for a similar contest at the track in October where he could only stay on at the one pace to finish fourth. He's entitled to improve for that experience and could fare better. He was one place in front of Jumpjack Flint who merits respect with his yard going well and that form looks to be the best on offer of those with experience. Open Day is stoutly bred so could find one or two in this field have too much speed for him but the market is likely to be the best guide to his chances whilst Dancing Legend is another likely looking type on paper. There may not be a great deal of strength in depth to this race which is taken to go to Karasenir.
