Handyman can defy topweight at the expense of Millcroft Seaspray and Mr Woodland in an uninspiring contest. Philip Hobbs has a decent record in this event, having collected in 2001 with Norlandic and has also had a couple placed in the past, including Handyman who went down by a short-head to Satshoon 12 months ago. That was after a six month absence, so a similar break will not be a disadvantage. He does though line up on a much higher mark so should not be considered a good thing. His main rival Millcroft Seaspray had just the three outings last term, only one of which was over fences, and although the trip will be in his favour, he lacks the experience of the selection. Mr Woodland showed enough in novice company last season to warrant a mention as well, but he will have a job on to stop Handyman going one better than last year, although bets should be kept on the small side.
