Gentle Ranger is a horse of potential however today may not be his day and so preference is for BORERO ahead of Richard's Sundance and Supreme Keano. The selection has a record of going well fresh and Charlie Mann's gelding is fancied to run well today after 237 days off. He has carried big weights to victory in the past and should be at home in this grade having been pulled up in the 'four miler' at Cheltenham when last seen. Richard's Sundance is a course winner who is still unexposed; he faces fences for the first time and may still be fairly handicapped for the switch despite his latest rise in the weights. Supreme Keano looks likely to get the cut in the ground that he desires and he is unexposed in this sphere. He looks like one of the big dangers, along with Plein Pouvior who has plenty of ability and also Grand Slam Hero who is back after 529 days on the sidelines. Trigonometry signed off with a win at Wincanton last season but has been raised a stone for that, Qhilimar needs a market check on his UK debut for a shrewd yard, whilst Dancing Mist is bred to come into his own over fences this year. The consistent course winner Deep Pockets will give backers a good run for their money, however it is Borero who is fancied to take all the beating.
