Toulouse-Lautrec has an obvious chance at the weights on his chase form and has to be respected but may not represent much value and a chance is taken with Chateau Rose, who is preferred to Try Catch Paddy and Rosetown. The last mentioned has trip and ground conditions to suit but may be a shade high in the weights at present, while Frosty Jak overcame an absence to win here a fortnight ago but may find this coming too soon and is prone to bounce. Knight of Silver would probably want a faster surface, while Silkwood Top needs to improve. Try Catch Paddy has claims on the pick of his form but Martin Pipe's gelding lost his way last term and a chance is taken with Chateau Rose who admittedly has been off the track a long time but has dropped to a favourable mark and hails from a yard in good from at present. With ground conditions to suit, Chateau Rose may be worth an investment at likely decent odds.
