Private Be created a favourable impression when finding just Jeremy Cuddle Duck (a winner again since) too good at Bangor on his hurdling debut last month and is taken to go one better at the main expense of Autumn Red and Nice Horse. The last mentioned won on his debut in a Fontwell bumper before being outclassed in the Championship bumpers at the Cheltenham and Aintree Festivals. Both of those races have thrown up plenty of winners and it would be no surprise to see Nice Horse improve for the switch to hurdling. Stablemate Abragante is beginning to look exposed and of more interest may be There Is No Doubt, who looked useful when winning his first two starts in National Hunt flat races. Hi Humpfree, from the in-form Heather Dalton stable, and Henrietta Knight's newcomer Stoney Drove are others to consider although a bigger threat may come from Autumn Red. Paul Webber's gelding has some solid form in bumpers and a market move for him on his reappearance and hurdling debut would be of interest. Private Be sets a decent standard though and he gets the vote for the yard of Philip Hobbs.
