A number can be given chances here, including Agilete, Acomb, Border Edge and Franksalot, but the vote goes to True Night. This is a pretty tight affair but True Night bounced back to form at Newcastle last time and, being still fairly weighted on the best of his form, can go well again tonight although it is a concern that he is not well drawn. Idle Power ran well here last week but a place might be the best he can hope for again, and Stage Secret has so far looked vulnerable from his revised mark since winning. It will be remarkable if Acomb, an impressive winner here last week but now racing from a 12-pounds higher mark, runs here as he was due to run at Catterick yesterday. He would still have to be respected if he does, although that ratings hike will make things tougher. The lightly-raced Agilete ran well at Newbury last time and is entitled to respect, while Border Edge is back to the mark from which he won at Lingfield in May. Franksalot is back to near a winning mark of last summer, while Amica ran well after a slow start at Lingfield two runs ago and the step up in trip could help things along tonight. Phluke has been raised two pounds for his Warwick win, and is closely weighted with both Phluke and Landucci based on Brighton runs of May 22. Quantum Leap has been out of form lately, and Taranaki is closely weighted with Phluke based on Warwick form. Overall, though, the vote - a tentative one - stays with True Night.
