A very small field here, with POMPEYANO getting the nod, but Heliodor's a respected rival. Chock A Block may provide some opposition, but it would be an Epsom miracle if Dubai Miracle were to win. Pompeyano and Heliodor actually hold Goodwood entries tomorrow. The former is having his first race in this country after beginning his career in France before heading to the UAE. The highest rated, he may prefer a little juice in the ground. The main danger Heliodor's a regular in group and listed company, and his last success came in a similar race to this when he was sent to the front early. That was at Kempton though, on a different surface and going the other way round. Chock A Block is Godolphin's second string here and lightly raced in comparison. He won a listed race at Newmarket last year but was last of eight in a similar race at Goodwood in his only race this year. Dubai Miracle hasn't followed up since winning a Lingfield maiden and would not only need everything to fall right but the others to do something wrong to land the spoils so can be confidently swerved. We'll side with Pompeyano.
