THE WINGED ASSASIN can land the finale at the main expense of Pride of Kings and Roar of Applause. The selection justified market support to score last time out and he shaped as though he might be one to stay on the right side of. Today's step-up in trip is a big plus and he should prove hard to beat. Pride Of Kings is the obvious alternative as he shaped with plenty of promise last season and he is another who should benefit from this longer trip. Roar of Applause won well last time at Kempton in what looked quite a competitive race. He looks progressive and he should run his race. Brian Meehan's other runner Hector Spectre is also not without a chance, while Motor Home lost his way towards the end of last season but he does not lack for ability and the yard are in good form and he could go well at a price for each-way punters. The step-up in trip looks a big plus for The Winged Assasin who gets the vote.
