This is a competitive handicap and we will side with MEZZANISI to get the better of Aureate and Hatton Flight. Michael Bell's 4-year-old showed some solid form last season and he had some nice types behind him when chasing home Electrolyser at Leicester last time. He is versatile with regards to the ground and off his current mark he looks the one to beat. Aureate will have a fitness edge on some of his rivals after a recent spin over hurdles, but he is arguably better over slightly further than this and for that reason we will take him on. Hatton Flight showed a good attitude to score at Lingfield last time, but we get the impression that the handicapper may be about to get a grip of him. Humble Opinion finished behind Hatton Flight last time and it is hard to see that form being reversed here. There are plenty in with chances and for the pick we will put forward Mezzanisi.
