      Verdict

      THUNDERING BLUE failed to prevent Silver Ghost from landing a double when third over track and trip earlier this month. But the runner-up has subsequently won and David Menuisier’s charge is preferred to War At Sea on that form. The latter was not beaten far when only fourth at Windsor last time and looks the main threat to the selection. White Tower has slipped down the weights without yet showing any benefit while First Up and Akamanto have yet to hit form so far this year.
