chased winner throughout, ridden 2f out, kept on same pace and well held over 1f out
went right start, chased leading pair, ridden one pace and no impression over 1f out
chased leaders on outside, pushed along halfway, ridden and beaten inside final 2f
bumped start, good speed to cross over and lead on near side rail, clear over 1f out, ridden out, unchallenged
All five have claims including well-related newcomer Le Gros Serpant who should be checked in the market on debut for a yard which could well exceed its best annual total to date this year. Jive Lady has proved solid the last twice whereas Onesarnieshort failed to build on a satisfactory debut next time. He remains of interest though, whilst Elements Quest went the other way with an improved second run but will probably have to do so again to prevail here. ALBERT STREET represents a yard that's always done well with sprinters and the Acclamation colt shaped well on debut when a promising fourth, not getting the run of the race. In the circumstances he did well to finish as close as he did and can put that valuable experience to good use here.
