Pango gets a narrow vote over Digital, with Goodwood Spirit and Lord Of The East not out of it either. Pango has been successful over the course and distance in the past and there is no getting away from the fact that he was unfortunate to bump into Plectrum at Goodwood last time, otherwise he would have won that race for the second year running. Hugh Morrisson's charge is ready to strike winning form now, and although he meets Goodwood Spirit on less favourable terms than at the Sussex track, he is fancied to come out on top. Digital was frustrating to follow last term but has scored twice during the summer and was only just touched off at Hamilton last time. He is in good heart at present and should be in the shake-up. Lord Of The East landed a claimer over the course and distance for Dandy Nicholls and now has his first outing for Ian McInnes. He has more on his plate here but at least goes on the track.
