close up behind leaders, effort on rails 3f out, soon ridden, no chance from 2f out

soon led, headed 3f out, soon lost place and weakened 2f out

Despite there being only five runners, this is quite a tight contest with only 1lb separating them on official ratings. Master Robbie has been in fine form so far this season, winning four races on the way. He has been kept busy, this being his 15th outing of the year, but has shown no signs of having had enough just yet. However, he looks to have a bit to find with Tychy, who gets the vote. Stuart Williams' filly looks to be better than ever having run a couple of sound races in defeat at Ascot, off a career high mark. While she has yet to win over this trip, she does stay this far and is also proven on an undulating track and as she is a stone better off with Master Robbie for a half-length beating, she should have no trouble gaining her revenge. Willieconqertoo is as tough as old boots and his second to Little Good Bay looked as good as anything he has achieved in the past. Outclassed on his only outing here, he is a winner at Brighton, so the track should not pose a problem for him. Fellow Ship is an underachiever, but while he cannot be left out of calculations in this, there are more reliable propositions. Captain Ginger has yet to convince this term, but would have a chance on his victory at Warwick last year when making all. If adopting the same tactics here, he could prove difficult to peg back. However, Tychy is relatively straightforward and can prove too good for her rivals on these terms.
