      Verdict

      Jassur and Epsom Icon should both benefit from their initial experiences and any juvenile newcomer housed in the Hannon academy, in this case Ritasun, is entitled to respect. However, Richard Hughes partners stable companion Phantom Flipper, who has hitherto posted two strong efforts around one major disappointment. There is little on the book between him and SHADOW GAME but the latter is afforded narrow preference. A son of Shamardal, also trained by Mark Johnston, he's battled on impressively the last twice when only beaten half a length on either occasion. He can go one better with stamina over this trip not in question.
