      Verdict

      Track form can prove invaluable around this venue and ARANTES can prove the point by following up a recent 1m2f course victory courtesy of a persistent and determined late challenge. The gelding has struck up a good relationship with 7lb claimer Daniel Cremin and is equally effective over this longer trip. He hasn't always found winning overly easy but he impressed the last day and can take confidence from that success and oblige again. Ninety Minutes and If I Were A Boy should run their race too but Tilstarr's turf successes have both come with plenty of juice in the ground. Bizzario hasn't shown too much yet but discounting Mark Johnston runners here is a dangerous approach.
