Tony The Tap, Here To Me and Place Cowboy look to be the principles in this competitive handicap and the vote is given to Tony The Tap. The selection ran well when in defeat at Newmarket last time out when second behind Jimmy Ryan. He is stepped up in trip here which should help and with conditions to suit he looks the one to beat. Here To Me won well when beating Anna Panna at Warwick last time and this filly has to be respected, but it had taken her 14 attempts to finally lose her maiden tag so she is clearly not one to place too much faith in. Place Cowboy ran better than the bare form suggests when fourth behind Silk Fan last time, and this colt will give our selection a serious run for his money. The rest will have to improve to trouble the principles and for the winner we return to Tony The Tap.
