Verdict
Today’s distance could be key to this given both of Lord Reason’s wins this year came over the shorter trip of a mile including at Newmarket last time and Lord Kelvin scored over the same trip at Beverley. Dawn Mirage attempts 1m2f for the first time after a couple of placed efforts over shorter while Inke’s win at Lingfield last month came over 1m1f. But THE GAY CAVALIER was narrowly beaten over course and distance a week ago and it’s John Ryan’s charge that gets the vote to go one better racing off the same mark.
