Big Time could only manage second in a claimer at Chester though that was behind Hillbilly Boy, rated 98, so it wasn’t a bad effort and he can figure in this. But ARNOLD LANE drops down a couple of grades today and, if running anywhere near the level of his win at Goodwood in June when Aqua Ardens was well beaten, Mick Channon’s charge should come out best. Take A Note and Bognor have not won since 2014 with the former making his seasonal debut and the latter having only won at Southwell so far.

Take A Note 20-1 (9-2) Raced centre, took keen hold tracking leaders, ridden 2f out, weakened soon after, 9th of 12, 16 1/4l behind Sir Robert Cheval (9-2) at Ascot 1m stks (3) gd in Oct.
