Verdict

This looks all set to go to Over Rating, with Gryngolette and Sharp Rigging providing the main opposition. John Gosden's Desert King filly should certainly be up to taking a race of this nature judged on her debut at Bath at the end of May. She ran a respectable fourth to Chetak, a place behind more fancied stablemate Odabella, and if fit enough is the one to be on. She has a lot more scope than the rest, the best of whom could be Gryngolette. Gerard Butler's filly has been failing to last out 10 furlongs so is back to a mile for the first time since her Nottingham debut. The move could be a wise one but a place is the best that she can hope for. The only other worth mentioning is Sharp Rigging who has taken time to come to hand. He too steps back in distance after finishing third to Tip The Dip, also at Nottingham, and with the runner-up Claradotnet boosting the form over the weekend, he is not without a chance of being in the shake-up. We take Over Rating to defy an absence and score on only her second appearance on a racecourse.
