Rewayaat is fancied to get back to winning ways ahead of Alchera, Joint Destiny and Happy Holiday, The latter, trained by Mick Channon, overcame a slow start to open his account at Haydock in July and was expected to build on that, but found things too hot in his first nursery at York. However, there were no real excuses when he failed to deliver the goods at Hamilton 10 days ago and he is worth taking on here. We do so with Rewayaat, who showed steady improvement to win at Yarmouth the time before last. She had things sewn up a furlong out but tired near the line, probably due to the fact that she was on the sick list after her good second to subsequent Queen Mary runner-up Catstar at Leicester. Ben Hanbury's filly was forced to race wide at Chester despite starting from stall two and was note putting in some good late work. Good enough for us to select the daughter of Bahhare here, despite having to give weight away to the others including Joint Destiny. The local hope has filled the frame on a number of occasions, but has failed to build on fair efforts at Haydock and Goodwood and does not appeal as much as Alchera who showed his best form last at Windsor when chasing home hotpot China Eyes. The fitting of blinkers no doubt helped and he can play a part, without being able to hold topweight Rewayaat.
