The veteran Colinca's Lad likes it around here and followed a fine effort in a better race than this on the track with a victory at Yarmouth. He must be considered with Rosie Jessop's claim a bonus though NAVE would be a penalty kick here if running as he did at Windsor last week where he landed a handicap by 8l. A 6lb penalty looks nothing to be concerned about though connections did say he loves a right-hand track. Balady stepped up to this trip for the first time at Windsor last month and produced her best run for a long time so she's on the short-list with just a 2lb rise. None of the remainder are easily dismissed and Mighty Clarets has been in winning form over hurdles.
