    Verdict

The best in on official BHB ratings, Rimrod is sure to have his supporters but, along with David Loder's Royal Dignitary, has not been in the best of form this term and preference is for Naahy. The selection ran away with a competitive handicap at Goodwood last month, making all the running, and looks ready for this first venture into Listed race-company. Rimrod and Royal Dignitary both have claims on their best but have to give weight away to their rivals and, on this season's form, are difficult to recommend with confidence. Duty Paid finished midfield in the 1,000 Guineas last time and may appreciate the drop in trip as well as class. She cannot be entirely ruled out, along with Fiddlers Reach, who is bred to appreciate this trip but has yet to prove that she stays this far.
