A decent looking renewal of this Listed race with good older horses Aldora and Lady Bear taking on three-year-olds Goodness Gracious, Londonnetdotcom and Nayzak, with the last mentioned getting the vote. Lady Bear has not always had her ideal conditions this term and is probably capable of better than she has shown to date but, of the older horses, Aldora has more solid claims having recorded her third success of the season at Goodwood recently. Londonnetdotcom has, so far, failed to reproduce her best juvenile form and is probably best watched for the time being. A similar comment applies to Goodness Gracious, who beat only one home when seventh behind Oaks hopeful Hi Dubai in the Pretty Polly at Newmarket last month. Nayzak beat Godolphin's filly on her only start as a two-year-old when a ready winner of a Newmarket maiden. Held in high regard by trainer Sir Michael Stoute, she is expected to begin making up for lost time and take this before going on to better things.
