In depth

Verdict

Hateya failed in a bid for a hat-trick when well beaten in better company at Chelmsford and it remains to be seen if Luis Vaz De Torres fares any better chasing a treble after victories at Wetherby and Ayr. DOURADO (NAP) could only manage fourth over a mile at Newbury last time but landed a course and distance double last August and looks set to run a big race returning to this venue for the first time since. Arrogant will be more at home in this grade after struggling in Listed company here while Prestbury Park showed a bit more at Chester last week having slid down the weights this year.
