A couple of French fillies make the trip over with SAYANA preferred. She already has a verdict over compatriot Rosie Cotton when scoring at Saint-Cloud in April and Alain De Royer-Dupre’s progressive filly has since won a Listed race at Chantilly and handles any ground. Persona Grata also won a Listed contest when trained in France last year but has struggled in a couple of starts for her new handler so far this season and Epsom Icon looks a bigger threat as she steps back down in trip. Oakley Girl was placed at Pontefract on her first start in pattern company and should have the measure of both Merry Me and Loaves And Fishes on these terms.
