      Verdict

      News Sky, Revenir and Mambina are three against the field in this maiden and the tentative vote goes to News Sky. The selection was a fair third behind Payola last time and if he can reproduce that effort he will be hard to beat in what looks a trappy affair. Revenir rates the main danger on his latest second behind River Of Babylon as he was doing all his best work at the finish and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip. Mambina is another worthy of respect on his best form but he was beaten in a poor handicap last time and has had plenty of chances so he looks opposable on that basis. Elusive Kitty was third behind Southern Bazaar last time and is another that will be suited by this longer trip but she has her own ideas about the game so can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Uig is a hard pulling sort who will try and make all the running but is not guaranteed an easy lead and for the winner we return to News Sky.
