Ashpan Sam won this in 2014/2015 and Reputation was successful last year. The former also won here in July so obviously loves the track and looks to have been primed for another crack. Reputation was 5lb lower a year ago but bounced back to form at Ripon last time and it will be a surprise if he's not in contention. Al Qahwa has always competed at this sort of level at around this mark and though not the most consistent he returned to action when just failing to concede 11lb to Gin In The Inn at York. WATCHABLE looks the one to be on as he was a close fourth a year ago and was having only his fourth subsequent start when landing a Doncaster handicap last month from subsequent winner George Bowen.
