Song of Passion made light of his inexperience when landing a Chester handicap on his reappearance and is taken to follow up here at the main expense of Royal Envoy and Spirit of Arosa. The last mentioned is, like the selection, relatively lightly raced and has done little wrong this season but seems to be a shade high in the weights now so may be best watched. David Barron has his string in good form so King of The Moors has to be respected along with Dame Hester, who ha snot been beaten far in two starts on turf this term. The Barry Hills-trained River Kintyre could be interesting if fit enough for his return although a bigger threat is likely to come from stablemate Royal Envoy, who won his maiden at Thirsk nicely enough and does not look to be too badly treated for his debut in this grade. Song Of Passion was good value for his win at Chester though and has solid claims of following up here.
