Unless Dash Of Spice takes a major step forward from his last of four at Newmarket, this looks to rest between AJMAN KING and the filly Star Story. The latter ran well at Salisbury in July when only finding Torcello, who has won twice since in handicaps, too good. But we just prefer Roger Varian’s colt, who was slowly away and then hampered when just beaten by Italian Heiress on his belated reappearance at the Wiltshire course. Nevalyashka is superbly-bred being a half-sister to five winners and she’s by Sir Percy so should handle the going – a market move would be interesting.
