Mr Wolf suggested at Beverley last week that he was coming back into form and David Barker's gelding is taken to overcome what looks a difficult draw and get the better of Cape Royal and Grigorovitch. The last mentioned got the run of the race when scoring at Ayr last time but will need luck in running again today and has a 6lb higher mark to contend with so he may be best watched. Fantasy Believer is capable of taking a hand off his current mark but may find this sharp five furlongs an insufficient test for him, while Intriguing Glimpse is probably a shade high in the weights at present. Polish Emperor is gradually coming back to a fair mark and has to be respected although a bigger threat is likely to come from Cape Royal. Milton Bradley's five-year-old shows plenty of speed from the stalls and should be ideally suited by this fast five furlongs but the five-year-old may just set the race up for Mr Wolf, who looks well treated on the form shown when winning at Pontefract last month and seemed to be coming back to form last time.
