Golden Fury and Dhaular Dhar are closely matched on running here earlier this month and have to be respected under conditions that suit but marginal preference is for Adoration. Mark Johnston's gelding disappointed at Hamilton last time but that was on a fast surface and the son of Royal Applause will be better served by today's ground. Paul Cole's Nanton is capable on the pick of his form but he faces a stiffer task than when landing a Hamilton claimer last time, while Aberdovey could do with some help from the handicapper. Looks Could Kill is creeping up in the weights without winning and of more interest may be the John Hills-trained Transvestite, who is only 2lbs higher than when scoring at Goodwood last month. Adoration has ground conditions to suit though and remains feasibly well treated so he gets the vote.
