Dreal Deal was carrying all before him at this stage two years ago, completing a six-timer. He's never run on the all-weather but Colin Keane's presence suggests he'll be up for this. TURF RANGE has a hat-trick of course victories to his credit and has returned from a long break in decent form. He hasn't had much racing for his age and gets a tentative vote in a tricky finale. Mads Black Eights has been going well over shorter but is yet to prove she stays this far and the lightly-raced Cold Steel has never run beyond a mile. Intend was beaten half-a-length over the track and trip in September and is on the same mark so looks a threat with his rider's claim a bonus.
