Three-times track winner Bellick has never won over this far here but has no problems staying and was in the lead at this trip when a close third over a mile last time. Lion Ring is 0-24 but did everything bar win when caught on the line three weeks ago. Jazzy Dancer was only beaten a length behind the in-form Linus Larrabee last week and the winner could boost the form in the previous race. However, NUMOOR also finished close up to that winner earlier when conceding 4lb and John McConnell's charge has been dropped 1lb in the weights so gets the nod to regain the winning thread. Maestro Stick gained his second track and trip victory earlier this month though a 6lb rise makes this tougher but Leclerc was headed on the line over a mile a couple of weeks ago and should be winning soon.
