Trans City had today's rival Cinarosa behind when fourth here on last month's reappearance and Ger Lyon's gelding looks a leading contender. Devonelli has run over C&D on all three starts without showing any marked improvement, but Extra Steps finished a couple of lengths in front of Big Bad Lily over 6f here two weeks ago and can figure. Mark Johnston makes regular forays to this track and has an impressive strike rate to boot. Newcastle winner VETVEY represents the yard here and it would be no surprise if he proves good enough to land this after a good effort at Musselburgh last weekend.
