Verdict

Raiders from the UK have a good record in this and Kevin Ryan won it way back in 2009. He saddles Queen Me here and, though mainly disappointing this term, she wouldn't be travelling without good reason. Another Yorkshire raider, Pillow Talk, has something to find on official ratings though she's been running well in handicaps. Bouttemont travels from France where his last run was behind Highfield Princess in the Prix de l'Abbaye. He'd earlier run in the Group 1 Flying Five at the Curragh, has a victory on Newcastle's Tapeta to his credit, and is taking a big drop in class. Big Gossey is a specialist at the Curragh but he's won twice here though finished behind HARRY'S BAR and The Highway Rat, who won this two years ago, over the track and trip three weeks ago. The winner can go in again as Twilight Jet makes his all-weather debut on his 19th start. A two-year-old won this in 2019 so the presence of Aidan O'Brien's Alabama is intriguing.
