Verdict

Great Bear reverts to hurdles after a couple of runs over fences but looks high enough in the weights. Feel The Pinch has won three of his last four and Castel Gandolfo has been running well all summer and finished ahead of stablemate Glorious Zoff at Market Rasen last month. Clarens is weighted to reverse Tipperary running with Royal Eagle but Black Poppy and TEDDY BLUE are closely matched on their 1-2 at Haydock in the spring. A blunder at the last cost the runner-up dear that day and Kerry Lee’s charge may struggle to confirm the form, though he’s a strong traveller who has won around here in the past. Afadil beat older horses at Ayr in April and can progress again this term following wind surgery but Our Champ has more to do than when scoring at Plumpton. Shetland Tony and Bukhill are other recent winners.
