Shabra Emperor won this a year ago and had been running very well before missing the break a fortnight ago. Fran Berry gets on well with him and he should get involved. Twistsandturns completed a double over a mile here at the backend of last year but he's just as effective over this trip and appears to have been given a chance by the assessor but the veteran Tsar Paul is still 5lb higher than his last success. MOSS NATION (NAP) had a few of these behind when headed close home by the well handicapped Burren Hill View two weeks ago. She's still a maiden but her recent runs suggest she's better than a 50-rated handicapper and can gain her first success with Tom Madden's claim a bonus. Cappadocia wasn't far behind in that latter race and has now dropped to a very lowly mark.
