Verdict

MULZAMM ended a long losing run when scoring with a bit in hand a couple of weeks ago and though 6lb higher will be difficult to beat in that kind of form. Amazing One was always up with the pace but couldn't find extra when required while Major Power, who had been in fine form going into that race, had every chance and was beaten over 3 lengths. Masalai is rarely beaten far but is 8lb higher than his last victory while Munfallet, an easy winner over a mile in November, has struggled from a higher mark in subsequent starts.
